Vinyl was invented originally in the 1920’s and it was designed to help manufacture everyday products that were more durable and cheaper to produce. Vinyl has now become one of the most manufactured and sold plastic resins in the world. Because of its durability it also has a very long life span and can be recycled which means that it is becoming more and more popular as it helps preservation of environmental resources 57% of vinyl is made from common salt, which is a renewable natural substance. It can be manufactured in wide variety of colours both transparent and solids.
For all these reasons it has become more and more popular not only with the commercial market but now within the domestic field.
